Al Meloche


Arnold (Al) Meloche was born in Nogales, AZ
in 1935 and moved to San Diego, CA in 1949
where he currently resides.

He has retired 3 times and now devotes his time to art and travel.

 Al attended college to become an Industrial Arts Teacher. While in college he worked in many forms of art including jewelry, sculpture, pottery, wood carving and painting with oils, acrylics watercolors, pencil and ink. Sjhells2


Al has won awards in competitions for his sculptures and watercolors



Al's art is now influenced by nature's natural products. He carves unique walking sticks and scenes in wood, draws and paints sea shells or anything that Mother Nature will let him recycle in an art form.
